Embedded FOP

Been trying using the embedded version of FOP to convert XSL-FO to PDF. I always get a thrill trying using a new code library or module and am usually inspired by the way complex and time-consuming coding can be compressed into a few well-chosen calls to a good API, I really appreciate the efforts of all my contemporary developers, open-source or otherwise. I remember about 12 years ago trying to write a printer driver in C for postscript on a HP laserjet. Took ages and digesting two two-inch thick tomes on the postscript language to get started. Now under 20 lines of Java code will generate a PDF for me, amazing. 5:55:49 PM
