Mind the gap, mind the fan
During the TV adverts I thought "I know that woman's voice", it was someone saying "for every generation", look up and lo, it's Marianne Faithfull looking her usual cool self doing a GAP advert. Alas her ad doesn't seem to be listed on their QuickTime ads site along with Willie Nelson, Bryan Adams et al. Slightly surprised the Gap site doesn't offer e-commerce facilities in the UK, would have thought they'd be well able to provide that. All good exposure for Marianne who's touring US with Kissin Time. She's due to be on David Letterman tomorrow, hope we see it on ITV2 sometime.Sadly there seems to be some lack of communication between Marianne's management and the webmaster of her best fan site, he's so fed up by the lack of response that he's threatening to delete the site and mailing list. It would be a real shame to lose such great resources, why is it that fans of who or whatever are often able to provide far more interesting sites than the 'official' ones for all the money spent on them they just don't have the the same passion or dedication. 11:35:08 PM
