Heh, heh. With a following wind and crossings of fingers and a wee daud o' Holy Water it looks like the wait is nearly over...it's got something to do with this new registration. Let's just say I've been waiting at least 4 years for scotswoman.com to be released from the clutches of 'waste-of-space' cyber squatters. The last lot wanted to sell it to me...I just waited...and waited...and when they didn't renew the domain. Snap! I'm nothing if not patient :-) Still a bit of plumming and admin work to do but it looks as if operation "Gonnie Gies a Wuman" is a go-er. A placeholder page will be up until I get my Quine hosts to add the new domain, change the nameservers, DNS propagation delay then I'll need to wait a bit before consolidating all the alternate domains at the same registrar.
This is a good time: Quine domain battle won, cashed my Kate Winnings, order for MX Studio about to be placed , at work had a crash course in XPath and native XML DBs, two bits of project work nearly released and holidays looming. Wan contented techie.
