As part of counter-spam measures I've installed a local webmail reader "
Perl Webmail" on my Apache installation. I just don't think I can trust Outlook/Eudora these days, there are too many devious HTML spam tricks to avoid. The script is simple, no frills and straightforward. Quite interested to look at the HTML encoded versions of some of the spams to see that they're actually using IFrames inside the HTML of the messages. Now I think I can go back to the work I'd started on a SOAP API in Perl to check POP3 boxes. What I'm aiming for is a status message in Radio to tell me "you've got mail", then click and for it to take me to the webmail reader to preview the message(s), of course the preview could be in a Radio-served page itself.
