W3C CSS Validator
Cool. Looks like the W3C CSS Validator version 2.0 is now available for download again via CVS. I'm sure the last time I saw it, it was Python code, now it's pure Java. Good, I suppose, but it comes just as I've switched back to using my Perl head. I guess it's going to take my sair heid a wee while to figure out how to compile the system on a PC again (it's full of 'make' files). I subscribed to RealOne for a while but got fed up by the lack of content for international subscribers, wall to wall basketball and baseball (sorry not interested), and then they trumpetted CNN news as content only for it to turn out to be recorded snippets - for a long time CNNs *free*,real-time services were better than the RealOne versions. Interesting policy on subscriptions, they'll accept your subscription electronically but you're supposed to cancel *by phone*(!) Thankfully cancelled now, haven't missed it at all. 9:56:34 PM
