Well, well, well. Wendy Alexander has resigned. It's a wonder she's stuck it out as long as she has. It's going to be really interesting to see how McConnell will cover her departure - he can't be seen to lose face by replacing her by more than one person, he can't split up the portfolio again without causing further grief for the number of changes the departments have already gone through, and who, in their right minds would take on the triple portfolio, more importantly there's no one of a similar calibre to Wendy that leaps out as an obvious replacement.
