OVERCOMING VIOLENCE: A CHALLENGE TO THE CHURCHES
Speaker: BISHOP MARGOT KASSMANN
Lutheran Church of Hanover, Germany
Free. All welcome. These lectures are usually packed, so come early or share a chair!
The Maidie Hart lectures were set up by a group of Maidie's friends to remember her and continue her work with women's groups, the church and society. The World Council of Churches has recently set up a Decade to Overcome Violence (DOVE), and the 2002 lecture will be on this theme.
