Queen talks of mother's 'happy life'. The Queen has spoken in a special televised message about her mother's "long and happy life." She said she had been "overwhelmed" by the public display of affection and used the message to thank to the huge numbers of people who queued to pay their own personal respects to her mother. Scottish Afghanistan Women's Association

On Monday April 15th 2002 at 6.30pm in Friends Meeting House, Victoria Terrace Edinburgh.

The aim is to involve women of all ages and skills in this exciting new project. The organisation will be targeted at social welfare, health and education projects.
