Effie we've got visitors. Make yourself decent. What do mean "how?"
A million years B.C. Before Content. What a difference a day makes. Frilly Easter hats off to Dave Liebreich and Daniel Berlinger who made the intuitive leap to guessing the NYT connection before the more scientific approach of Mystic Lass reading the virtual tea leaves deep in Radio's innards.
Most of the traffic here almost entirely comes from search engines, a bit of a pleasant shock to find actual links from other sites to Scottish Lass thanks to the Scripting News link. New visitors!. So hello to Jenny Levine, Jerf, Adam Curry, YAW and hullo-o-o again to Garth - these timezones are a bummer! a howzitgaun to Steve MacLaughlin and not forgetting Dave Hehe yersel!
No disrespect to the New York Times but I'm a wee bit disappointed, I'd have preferred prediction No. 2 to be true - a newsfeed from Google news, somehow I don't think NYT will feed my Pop Idol addiction in quite the same way :-)

Let me guess. News feeds from the New York Times?
Dave Winer: "I've been trying in vain to drop hints about tomorrow's bomblet and keep drawing blanks. No one is expecting it. It's coming from left field. I have failed to tease! OK. It's connected to part of Radio that hasn't changed much. It's not the new outlining stuff. You'll think differently about UserLand after you know. It's not very technical. It will raise the bar in online journalism. It's for people who like poetry, books, movies, art, education, food, fashion, health, travel and technology. Never in a million years will anyone figure it out. This is so frustrating!"

Dave, it's supposed to be us girlies that are the teases. OK, here's my entry for "nope, nowhere near it" guesses: the coffee cup is Radio-speak for subscribing to a feed, OPML is a file format good for taxonomies/categories. How about being able to subscribe to an OPML feed from Yahoo/Google/DMOZ? Guess two: subscribe to a news feed from Google.
Update, later the same night, OK twenty seconds later: snooping detective work in the latest Radio update uncovers that system.verbs.builtins.radio.data.partnerurls contains a table named nyt. OK guess three, News feeds from the New York Times and therefore supplying the infrastructure for 'big' content players to follow...should they choose to.
Remember, you read it here first, right? Mystic Lass is seldom wrong, ah but Scottish Lass?, remember I tipped our women Curlers to win a medal and couldn'tfind a bookies to take the bet - I'm on a roll. All will be revealed...Wednesday (USA)....ooh the suspense.
