All the developer lists/boards are humming with the Macromedia announcement of Flash MX (aka Flash 6). Of course those quiet, Slashdotters have an opinion or two "Macromedia Pushes Flash For All Things Web" . Webmonkey Flash MX Overview What I've been waiting for is the improvements in accessibility. Developers have long been asking Macromedia to come up with a way of exposing internal content to the OS so that other software like screen readers gan 'grab' it so e.g. text/descriptive information could be spoken rather than presented as a graphic. The gotcha is that it's only on the PC platform and for Microsoft Active Accessibility and Windows Internet Explorer.
