"Wellpark is a female enterprise centre in the East End of Glasgow and we offer pre start up support and advice to women at the very early stages of going into business. In addition a Pre Start Up Grant of up to £500 is available towards the costs which may be incurred during the market research process.
Also on offer are Women's Preparation for Business Training courses. These aim to help women develop their business idea as well as increase their confidence and assist them in acquiring the necessary skills required for going into business. The next course begins on Tuesday March 26th and runs for 6 weeks between 9.30am and 3.30pm. The course is free and there may be assistance towards childcare and travelling costs. Glad to see the Pop Idol pages dropping out of Google - quite abruptly too, not quite sure whether they've dropped them intentionally or more likely it's the flaky and unreliable server the pages reside on being down at the time when Googlebot comes to crawl. I think the bandwidth situation is well in hand- it's just that at the 'peak' of Pop Idol fever a third of the the bandwidth for this month was used up in three days, and I was very unsure of how sustained the traffic would be. Fun while it lasted though :-)
