Evening delivery from Jungle - Firewire Card for the laptop. Hooray, mind you I've been waiting since just after Christmas. Now I should be able to backup to my external disk that so far only has Mac stuff. I know I had a partition or two I was hoping to put OS-X on a plan long since abandoned. Wonder if I need to go back to the Mac and tweak anything before letting the PC loose on it. Don't want the existing Mac backups gubbed. It should also at long last enable me to get the camcorder connected to the PC. Still waiting for the Wizard of Oz and Oreilly books from Amazon - I guess they've been held up by the gales on Monday which brought the entire train system to a halt.

Update on Quine traffic. On the 29th Traffic was almost
double the usual. Yike that's a hike.
